TEAM PLANET ONE is a private initiative dedicated to ecological forestry and environmental protection. The initiative was founded in 2019 by Jenalyn Castro, who is also its representative.
Since 2019, more and more farmers have joined the initiative and practice ecological forestry, because the decision between one’s own daily needs and the needs of the environment is often not easy to weigh up for a single individual.
When searching for sustainable concepts, TEAM PLANET ONE uses the Forest Stewardship Council PRINCIPLES AND CRITERIA FOR FOREST STEWARDSHIP in conjunction with the ASEAN Guiding Principles for Effective Social Forestry Legal Frameworks.
The ASEAN Guiding Principles for Social Effectiveness were developed in an inclusive process with the support of the ASEAN Secretariat, ClientEarth, RECOFTC, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Sida).
The Forest Stewardship Council GmbH (FSC) is an international, non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization founded in 1993 that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests through timber certification. This organization pursues a market-based approach to transnational environmental policy. The concept of this organization is worth imitating, but TEAM PLANET ONE remains independent.
